Hi everyone!
2010 has been a great year for Umthombo thus far! We are working in Hout Bay this year and we have selected 40 children from 4 schools to be part of the programme. In addition, the facilitator training programme has been adapted and expanded from last year and the result has been a comprehensive and in-depth promgramme that promises to provide facilitators with a solid grounding in the knowledge and skills necessary to be a successful facilitator on the children's camps. We have a fantastic team of trainers and they have been complimented by an equally fantastic group of facilitators - the training is well under way and we have already seen great results!
To the 2009 children - it was wonderful to see some of you again and we are missing everyone a lot. Thank you for the inspirational letters you wrote to the children on the 2010 programme.
