The busy bees are busying themselves with Umthombo honey !
We have Facilitators Training, Leadership Camp, Organic Veggie Planting & Water Purification day and also such amazing funding opportunities that require lots of paper work. I have realised that Umthombo have an incredibly unique product, our Cultural Diversity Intelligence curriculum is so relevant, not only in South Africa but globally ! I spent some time on Google looking at other youth programmes specialising in cultural diversity and we stand alone in demand.
We are making headway with our Hout Bay 5 year community project and have formed a task team that have an extensive network – it’s not what you know but WHO you know and our Queen Bee is very skilled at gathering the right people at the right time.
Oooh we are famous; Umthombo was featured on SABC 2 Motswako on Monday 13th June – it was thrilling to sit in my lounge and watch our children, facilitators and trainers create magic.
Brrrrrrrrr rain, wind, sunshine and smiles Cape Town is spectacular in all conditions, thank you Mother City for your beauty
